The cranial nerve relative to facial

˙Trigeminal nerve (V):

    the largest of CN., midlateral surface of the pons，sensory> motor root

   -senseion:face、forehead、mucous membrance of nose and mouth、teeth、    

     portions of the cranial dura (including pain、thermal、tactile sension)、

     anterior 2/3 of the tongue.

   -motor:mastication、mylohyoid、anterior belly of the digastric、tensor    

     tympani、tensor veli palatini muscles.

   (1)ophthalmic branch (眼)-sensation in upper face

   (2)maxillary branch (上頜)-sensation from the maxilla & maxillary sinus

   (3)mandibular branch (下頜)-sensory & motor

˙Facial nerve (VII):

   -sensory: chorda typmani branch: taste sensation to the anterior 2/3 of the tongue

   -motor:lips, cheek and facial erpression ; the posterior belly of the digastric, the

    stylohyoid and the stapedius muscles.

Treatment:   

◦ Elect stimulate

◦ Oral motor exercise

◦ Massage

 ˙單手按摩

 1.眼角：以單側眼角及眉角處為起點往後旋轉，以太陽穴為中心旋轉數次。再換另一側。

 2.額頭：以單側眉角為起點，在額頭的側端以漸進式旋轉至另外一端的方向按摩，再回到原來的地方 (左右來回)

 3.額頭：以單側眉角為起點，在額頭側端以上下移動且同時往另一端的方向按摩，再回到原來的地方 (左右來回)

 4.臉頰：單側TMJ為起點往前下方旋轉且漸進式往嘴角的方向移動，再回到TMJ。再換另一側 

 5.下臉頰：單側TMJ為起點往前下方旋轉且漸進式往下頦的方向移動，再回到TMJ。 再換另一側

 6.下頦：以下頦中心點為起點旋轉按摩。

     

 ˙雙手按摩-兩側臉同時做

1. 眼角：以兩側眼角及眉角處為起點往後旋轉，以太陽穴為中心旋轉。

2. 額頭：以兩側眉角為起點，在額頭的兩側端以漸進式旋轉至中心的方向按摩，再往兩 側的方向 (側邊à中心à側邊…循環)。

3. 額頭：以單側眉角為起點，雙手在額頭側端分別以上下移動且同時往另一端的方按摩， 再回到原來的地方 (左右來回)。

4.臉頰：兩側TMJ為起點往前下方旋轉且漸進式往嘴角的方向移動，再回到TMJ。

5.下臉頰：兩側TMJ為起點往前下方旋轉且漸進式往下頦的方向移動，再回到TMJ。

6.下頦：以下頦中心點為起點，雙手分別往左右外旋轉按摩下頦。

✓ Facial symmery

1.雙脣:以人中為中心點，拇指及食指在嘴角左右兩端為起點往中心做出嘟嘴的動作並停留數秒鐘，分別做下嘴唇及上嘴唇。

2.雙唇閉合由TMJ為起點往嘴角方向移動。

3.雙唇張開由TMJ為起點往嘴角方向移動。

4.以人中為中線，手指放在嘴唇前面，做出嘟嘴的動作。

5.將衛生紙放在嘴唇前面，做吹氣的動作。
